Chapter 3 – Belonging to The Willandra Lakes

Chapter 3 of the Mungo Report looks at connections from the Darling, Lower Lachlan, Lower Murrumbidgee and Murray Rivers and the dry country to the north. It also looks at the interconnectedness of the various cultural groups that have associations with the Willandra Lakes World Heritage area.

There are thousands of Aboriginal people who belong to the land now known as the Willandra Lakes World Heritage Area, because their ancestors belonged to that land.
